So like an idiot I said to the philosopher in the office next door, "Sure, I've been wanting to read the Philosophical Investigations for a long time--it would be great to read it together." Actually, I think this began with the philosopher saying he had turned right to the poem "For Wittgenstein" in my new book, Magical Thinking. And I said, "How come poets all think Wittgenstein is a poet, but philosophers insist he's a positivist?" This weblog is the result of that question.
